Well.............that all ended after we crossed over into Colorado! What was supposed to be our easiest part of the day - blasting down the I-70 to Fernando' brother's house turned out to be a wet n wild experience! As we approached the summit of 10,000 feet, we started getting pelted with big chunks of icy hale.........and we were still wearing t-shirts coming off the heat of Utah!!
We got a steady flow of rain all the way to our destination in South Denver. This was coupled with a accident that blocked 2 lanes that we had to wait for and then a little further down a tourist bicycle fell off the back of his car and blocked traffic as well!
My bike has a CB radio. SO it was fun talking to the truckers and getting info as to what was goin on ahead of us..........that helped us, for example, to change lanes to the right after I was told that the left lanes were blocked.
Fernando gets his first expeience ridin in the rain! Mark struggles to put his "farmer john" rainsuit on.

I liked your mini videos! I am trying to figure out how to add ours onto our blogs but cannot figure it out...anywho, did you end up getting a trucker name, like "Copper Monkey" or something? That would be fun...
